Sunset At Praia de Matosinhos

Our semi-chaotic weekend ended with a superb sunset, a fine time to take our Turkish couchsurfer to the beach to see her first ocean. (She’d seen plenty of seas but no oceans yet.)

The timing worked out well since we volunteered in the afternoon, but thanks to Daylight Saving Time, we could fetch our visitor in the centre of Porto and make it to Matosinhos Beach for this. Daylight Saving Time is usually cause for grumbling, especially in the spring, but on this day it was in our favour.
