My personal evolution as an image enthusiast.

[View latest photos as a slideshow in a new window]

Most of my photo collection to date was taken with a variety of older-model point-and-shoot film and digitals, the majority with the Canon A-series: A60, A80, A520. Nearly all my video comes from these cameras, as well. From 2005 I’ve also been shooting with my husband’s old Pentax K-1000 film camera from college. I finally bought an entry-level (read: affordable) DSLR in May 2007 — the Pentax K100D, which shares lenses with my K-1000. I have two lenses plus the kit 18-55mm, the Sigma 28-135mm f/3.8, and my favourite by a long shot, the Pentax 50mm f/1.7.

In early 2007, Flickr offered a new feature wherein a user could group sets into a higher-level category called Collections. Since my photography plugin Falbum doesn’t have this option, I thought I would list my collections. Click on any title to view.

House of Fielding

Photosets of what once was my little family: my husband David, our cat Hugh, and me. I am the remaining member of the House of Fielding.

RIP David L. Fielding

UPDATE JAN ‘08: Xena and Beano are my friend’s beloved cats who were orphaned by her sudden passing on January 3. They are now officially part of the House of Fielding, and will continue to be spoiled rotten. We’re taking care of each other, but we miss you, Arliin.
