Made it safely to Ottawa last night about 10:30, dropped off my two Craigslist passengers, and was met by a freshly-made bowl of beef stew and a glass of red wine. Perfect!
Got up by 7am, hit the road for Montreal, and (H) got a speeding ticket. Oh dear! You may recall an illegal U-turn ticket the last time I was in his car, in Gatineau Park.
Crossing my fingers the rest of the day will be full of luck!
