Indian buffets are like sleep aids. (Not like I need those.)
One reason why I like to go to Kama is because they carry copies of the India Abroad paper and at the back are the classifieds where mostly parents put in ads to find mates for their sons and daughters! Check it out. Sometimes it isn’t parents, people put in ads themselves. Here are a couple of ones Sergio and I found interesting this time (of course, I’ve left out the email addresses and phone numbers!):

This guy had us with “unencumbered”. Is that not an excellent word? Tones down the “unfortunate brief marriage” part. Sergio had his phone out, we were curious to ask for a photo!

See, to me, homely means plain, bordering on ugly. Grae tells me that to him and most Aussies, it means a stay-at-home type, not too keen to travel or go out.
Apparently, ‘homely’ means both, but I’m with you on this one — what comes to mind first is ‘unattractive’. When I think of a stay-at-home type, I think ‘homebody’.
I know it to be both, as well and took the ad to mean the stay at home type. At least, I sure hope so. Hehehe!
