Photos of me in Paris, six years ago. In the one above I was on a boat travelling along the Seine River. It was my first visit to Paris, and my friend Claire made the 130km trip north from Orléans to show me around the city. We’d met in Vancouver less than a year before and became fast friends, so this trip holds many fond memories for me. Claire was far more invested in photography than I was at the time and had a good SLR camera while I shot exclusively with this small digital Canon. But when she scanned these photos and sent them to me, I was convinced that film could trump digital any day, especially for nostalgie.
