I’d intended on posting videos for only the month of December, but after weeks of this I think I will continue the practice… maybe not every day, but most days.
This video is by a local Toronto band named Major Maker, whose music can be described as “indie pop”. Check out their MySpace page and official homepage.
According to their YouTube channel, the “Rollercoaster” video is a spoof on Yacht Rock from the 70′s. I think it’s pure sunshine, a real antidote to chilly winter. If you’ve ever taken the ferry to the Toronto islands, the scenery in the video will look very familiar.
