I shot over 600 photos on Thursday night at Steam Whistle Brewing for the city’s annual charity boxing event called “Fight For Independence” to benefit Nazareth House and The Hospital for Sick Children Emergency Department.

I learned of the fundraiser through The Firm and immediately sent an email asking who the coordinator was, and the rest is history… That’s how I managed to shoot my first boxing match — which should’ve been in Havana, Cuba, in December 2006 but I could never get into the training centre no matter how hard I tried. Luckily for me, it was much easier in Toronto.
