Next week this blog turns seven (break out the birthday cake!), and I swear, if there’s still internet when I’m too old to type anymore and it hasn’t turned into something totally unprintable, give me a copy of this website so I can reclaim some of my memory! Because apparently I have to write stuff down because it doesn’t stick in my brain anymore.
Christine and I met Hilde for dinner at a neighbourhood pizzeria in Rome, and on this paper table cloth, underneath my tiramisu, I wrote out my activities of only a few hours before. It took some brain-wracking:
June 20, 2009
The Vatican (+ cupola) – I climbed 330+ stairs without stopping! –
Castel Sant’Angelo
Piazza Navona
Best coffee in Rome (according to Christine) – La Casa del… uh…
Pantheon
Basilica San Clemente

The pizzeria itself was marvellous brain food, I’m happy to report. Of course, I can’t remember the name of the place now…
Buon appetito!
