I can’t believe I ate all that, but I did — and more (spinach borani and warm flatbread). Then we walked and walked and walked it off for hours… I took Mace all around the city on foot, a loop that included College Street to Little Italy, Ossington south of College to Queen, Queen Street West across to Yonge Street, north on Yonge through Dundas Square up to Bloor, then Bay Street south to Wellesley. Outwith that loop, there was also:
- CN Tower – thought we might catch a glimpse of the Indy, but there was a one-hour wait to the glass floor, then another hour to the observation deck
- Financial District – took him up to The Firm to see if we could catch a glimpse from there, but the line of vision was blocked by other buildings
- Panorama Lounge – considered the view of the city at night from the lounge, but the $5 per person cover charge put us off
