Natalia, Neesa, and I are part of The Brides’ Project team for Relay For Life. We went to the shop last night to choose the fugliest bridal outfits we could find to wear for the relay! These ones are from the basement, for obvious reasons. The ones that look remotely wearable have either broken zippers or stains or are just too damaged to sell to anyone. But really, who would wear these unless caught in a time warp? I don’t think either Natalia OR Neesa were even born yet when these fashions were, er, in fashion.
Once they stepped into the dresses I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe, let alone hold the camera… the sight of Natalia spinning around singing Madonna’s “Like A Virgin” — “like a virgin, OOOH! touched for the very first tiiiiiiiiime!” — was a sight to behold!
With shoulders this big, Natalia could simply flap her arms and fly away.
We love the spiderweb back, don’t you?
“Who designed these?!?” asked Neesa. “I feel like I’m in a circus!”
