I put in another weekend shift at The Brides’ Project, but there were enough appointments, even on Easter Sunday, to make it worthwhile. I was looking forward to getting out and about with my camera after a day of wedding dresses and bridal talk, and there was still a couple of daylight hours left to shoot.
The weather people were right about the continuing sunshine and I was more prepared today, clothing-wise: super-thick hoodie (all the better to contain my hair in windy conditions and keep my ears and neck warm), winter gloves that convert to fingerless gloves, boots instead of shoes, fully-charged iPod, and I remembered to bring my hefty lens hood this time.
I started off at Tommy Thompson Park, leaving my car near the entrance to the park. The sign stated a 6pm closure, and I didn’t want to get locked in!
