Yesterday was a sunny Sunday and I had about three minutes before a client meeting, so I shot a few photos of St. James Cathedral on King Street (<–I had a pun attack!) and noticed this gigantic mushroom. I’ve been in this neighbourhood many times, how could I miss this??
And then I found an article online that shows it’s a temporary installation:
Toronto Star – May 29, 2008: There’s no place like shroom
To give you some idea of where this mushroom is and its relative size, check out the photo I took of the cathedral and spot the mushroom on the right side of the photo.
