I arrived home late Sunday night laden with bags of groceries and my photography backpack, definitely feeling the effects of the weekend activities. Just climbing the stairs was slow going!
I took A LOT of photos — over 500 — and I haven’t looked through them all yet, so what I’ll do is skim through the batch and choose a few favourites from:
- snowshoeing at Blue Mountain on Saturday
- Marin’s Chinese New Year’s party on Saturday night
- my photoshoot with Justin Ruttan of Cherish Events on Sunday.
Here goes:
Saturday: snowshoeing at Scenic Caves/Nordic Centre at Blue Mountain in Collingwood
Saturday night: Marin’s Chinese New Year Party
Sunday: photoshoot with Justin Ruttan, Cherish Event Management
Sunday was COLD, too, and I mean -24C or so with the windchill. But the light was really good, so I convinced Justin to take some shots outside. He took off his jacket for the photos and I shot as quickly as I could so we duck inside somewhere to warm up again! Here’s one I took of him on King Street, just east of Yonge:
I found a great hallway in The Pantages Hotel Toronto Centre:
Finally, I leave you with a photo of my dinner at Fran’s (the one attached to The Pantages Hotel):
Grilled chicken and avocado club sandwich, with homefries. After shooting for three hours, we were starving!
