If you haven’t met in Xena in person, this is exactly what she’d sound like if she could talk. When people come over, Xena’s waiting for a scritch while Beano hides. Xena’s not afraid of strangers, she’s more afraid that you will ignore her relentless pursuit of attention. She will shamelessly harass you everywhere, including in front of the fridge and in the bathroom. But watch out, because she drools.
It might appear that Beano gets more lens time than Xena, but that’s not me playing favourites. The problem is, Xena hardly ever sits still enough to have her picture taken, and the fact that she’s a black cat means she has to sit extra long to get a decently-exposed photo, otherwise she’s a black blob with eyes.
