Like the houseguest that shows up far too early at a party and cuts in on the prepping time by getting in the way instead of helping, Winter is officially here.
I’m very glad I finished my flying for the year because I’d probably be stuck in an airport somewhere right now, wondering when I would ever reach my destination. But I’d still love it if it stopped snowing for about a week so I could take Xena to the vet for her annual physical and so I can drive without incident to the cottage up north. I like winter driving about as much as the cats like going to the vet.
