Royal Wood: Even Better Live!

I did it, I went to see Royal Wood live at Hugh’s Room and he was fan-bloody-tastic! As you can see I scurried up to the front near the stage and got extra close with my 50mm, but I shot entirely in RAW format, so it’ll be about Christmas by the time I get through them all…

Something magical happens when the sky can’t make up its mind whether to rain or shine.
I was in a hurry, on my way to Hugh’s Room when I saw this and stopped dead in my tracks. I got out the camera as the sky splattered raindrops on me and laughed when I saw a woman run across the street to do the same: take a photo of the church and sunset before the sky made up its mind again.
Pictures don’t do the sunset justice — it looked magnificent.
