Some photo highlights from Sunday and Monday.

Sunday: Holmenkollen ski jump, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics

a long way down (and I'm only partway up to the tower)

We stayed in Hamar on Sunday night, and on Monday visited Hedmarksmuseet:

The drive westwards reminded me a lot of Switzerland (Berit also joined me on that trip when I went the first time in 2002, and she drove while I took photos — which gave me deja-vu yesterday!):

I’m (currently using bandwidth of a swanky hotel I’m not staying at) in Flam, situated at the base of a mountain range and at the end of Aurlandfjord. We’re here to take an historic railway called the Flamsbana, a 20-km run of dramatic scenery with steep grades.

Do I see snow in June on the mountain? What a country.
