TTC Commuters, Watch This
Published by Gail May 17th, 2008 in Urban Life, VideoclipsOshiya, or “pusher”, is an informal Japanese term for a worker who stands on the platform of a railway station during the morning and evening rush hours, and pushes people onto the train. This video is a good example of just how crowded it gets on Japanese trains.
–as seen on my “The Best of YouTube” podcast.

So in other words they’re too cheap to run another train. Guess things are getting tough in Japan, just like they say.
Well, I have never seen the likes of this before - glad I don’t live there!
