I took my neighbour’s dog for a walk this afternoon while I went to the bank, and I was thinking to myself how I didn’t have any photos of the pooch. She’s very cute, and this is the first time I’ve been working at home while she’s not at doggy daycare. I must take my camera downstairs on our next outing! I know next to nothing about dog breeds, so I can’t really say what she is… a hypoallergenic giant malti-poo kind of a dog? I’ll ask.
Meanwhile, the dogs are greatly outnumbered by the cats on this website. I was talking to Helma this evening about my friend’s cats down in San Francisco, how the sweet Cammie came into his life quite recently, and then there is the fluffy beast Simba, who’s a big scaredycat:
Simba’s stare is burning a hole in my lens.
And have you ever met a cat that likes spinach?
Neither had I, until I met Simba!
Cammie’s still getting used to Simba, who’s friendly with her but she thwaps him on the head with her paw when he gets too close. Aww, poor kitty! That’s exactly what happens to Beano when he gets too friendly with Xena, and they’ve been together for YEARS. They’re like The Odd Couple.
I did manage to get a few photos of proximity, here’s one:

Wow, is Simba appropriately named! Certainly looks regal in most of those pics!

He is! And he’s got enough fur to make a coat in about a week! But you know what? He’s a TOTAL FRAIDYCAT. I should’ve shot some video of his meowing. For all that fluff and pomp, he’s hilarious to listen to, like his voice doesn’t match his look.

How can Simba be so interested in Spinach? Who can understand cats? I love the pictures. Cats are very good photo subjects. They are so beautiful. I LOVE THEM ALL.
