    One of the many photo projects I’m working on right now is processing the batch I took on December 31 in Nathan Phillips Square. Here are the first three I’ve uploaded thus far, and the rest of the photo album that started with December 2006 and other shots taken over the course of several days last winter.

  2. The EdTwins Turn 4

    It’s still February 2 in PST, so I’m not too late!

    Here they are in my favourite recent picture, taken Christmas Eve 2007:

    Maribeth and Megan

    Four years ago, my youngest nieces were born prematurely by c-section at BC Women’s Hospital and immediately placed in incubators to help them along in their fragile post-womb state. Maribeth, particularly, was very much a miracle baby (having only 25% of the placenta) and emerged extremely tiny and scrawny compared to Megan. It didn’t take them long to fill out, however, and put their preemie days long behind them.
