Bundle Up, Toronto
Published by Gail November 30th, 2007 in Food + Drink, Out + AboutIt’s COLD! And WINDY! Something I don’t mind about the winter, though, is coming in from the chill by ducking in someplace warm and cozy after work to meet up with people over food and bevs. Tonight was cocktail night at B Espresso on Queen Street East, a place recommended by the irrepressible Maria (aka Matchmaker Maria). I couldn’t stay the whole evening because I was due to take photos over at the Giggleshorts Festival in the Brunswick Theatre, but I did indulge in a good many ‘aperitivos’ to go along with my joey di seras. I spent the rest of the evening taking photos and watching comedy short films — a good way to round out Thursday and kickstart the weekend, I’d say.

I hate the cold, but you’re right about walking into somewhere warm and cozy. Like instant relief. But then you have the 30 pounds of jackets and sweaters on, so you’re immediately TOO toasty. And you have to find some place to pile up all the jackets and such.
Winter is a lot of work!
I could use about 5 of those fruity-drink things about right now…
That drink looks nummy!
Winter came to Pennsylvania with a vengeance too. I don’t like it anymore. To cold. I bought a lot of warm cloth and hope I will stay toasty.
