It was too windy to go flying last Saturday in the biplane, but I enjoy myself while at the Aerodrome, regardless. There are always plenty of photo opportunities such as this one — a wide smile at the flightline. Whenever I’m there, I feel like David’s there, too. He went there every summer for at least 10 years, and that’s why it’s the final resting place of his ashes (and Hugh’s). Old Rhinebeck is a 7-hour drive from Toronto, but it’s a pilgrimage I’ll gladly make in this — our favourite — season.
