go away!

Holly and I went shooting at Dunmore Cemetery before they closed at 8:00, and I chased this woodchuck into hiding. I think he gave me the woodchuck equivalent of the finger.

Today Helma finally took the plunge into digital photography, and she merrily went on her way to photograph flowers and trees. Now that she knows how to download and view photos, the rest should come easy. Right, Helma?

cheaper by the dozen

OK, not really — I just happened to buy 12 of them because they fit nicely in this egg carton.

Kinder Surprise is banned in the U.S., what a cryin’ shame. I hope Holly’s kiddos like chocolate :)

I finally made it to Scranton after leaving very early in the morning in order to avoid traffic, but as luck would have it I got caught in a major highway detour! I still have no idea WHY all lanes after Fruitland were closed on the QEW, but it added over an hour to my trip. I didn’t see any accidents or vehicles or even a rabbit. What were they trying to do? Land a jumbo jet??

I’m going flying in the morning! Whee!

les fleurs

As much as I dislike pink, I love blossoming trees.

I got a good night’s sleep last night, so I’m ready to push off for a weekend in the south (again). Good ol’ Queen Vic for having a birthday in May and giving her royal subjects an excuse to extend the weekend an extra day. Like we’ll all be toasting dead monarchs on Monday with a barbecue chicken in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, but hey… happy weekend, everybody!
