It’s been a very busy week with little free time, but I thought I would wind down the evening with a few photos from a lunchwalk yesterday. When things get a little hectic I try and get out of the office and take some pictures. I think my favourite one is the one of the knots in the tree. I kept circling the tree to find a knot combination that looked most like a face. This wasn’t the one, but I liked this photo better.
Speaking of knots: when lunch was over I walked back to the office and noticed a bunch of police cars and a taxi at the intersection beside my building. As soon as I saw the taxi I knew it had hit someone. I’m not a gawker (I detest rubbernecking on the highway, especially), but because it was a stone’s throw from where I work, my first instinct was ‘I hope it’s not someone I know.’ Which makes me feel guilty because ANYONE who is the victim of an accident is a person someone knows, just not me.
