Sleepy Poodles and Saganaki
Published by Gail April 30th, 2007 in Food + Drink, FriendsI met up with some friends in the late afternoon for some outdoor music and, later, Greek food along the Danforth. The poodles, Dolce and Coco, were wiped out by a trip to the beaches earlier in the day and let me take some snaps of their noses while they napped:
The humans, on the other hand, were more animated:
By the time we ordered our food, I was craving the saganaki — “I want my flaming cheese!” — and took a short 5 second video when it finally arrived.
Saganaki would kill me if I ate it more than I usually do, which amounts to maybe twice a year. It’s potent stuff! Then again, so is moussaka.
