Sleepy Poodles and Saganaki

I met up with some friends in the late afternoon for some outdoor music and, later, Greek food along the Danforth. The poodles, Dolce and Coco, were wiped out by a trip to the beaches earlier in the day and let me take some snaps of their noses while they napped:

Khalsa Day Parade

After returning from the Islands, I encountered crowds of people wearing orange walking along Lakeshore and turning north onto York Street. It turned out to be the annual Khalsa Day Parade, and the large Sikh population in the Greater Toronto Area turned out for the event in huge numbers (50,000-60,000?).
