  1. Baby Parker

    April 10, 2007 by Gail

I’m ready to pass out from lack of sleep, but I have ground school tomorrow and there’s some reading material to plough through first. I would’ve had a nap earlier except I booked a telephone interview last week as a follow-up to a breast cancer research study I participated in last year. (They are still looking for qualifying participants, by the way, for the 31-40 age group. For details click on the link.)

I think if I try to take a nap, I’ll sleep all the way through to next week.

Less typing, more pics in the meantime of the very cute Mister Parker, now seven months old. My father had not held a baby boy since Michael was a sprog (oh, about five years ago), but since he’s the full-time childminder for my nieces and nephew he’s very accustomed to the wee ones. Too bad the one shot I took of my dad and Parker turned out blurry, I’ll have to take more next time.

    pbbbfffftttt!

A resident of Maplewood Farm, North Vancouver, demonstrates her thoughts of my lens in her face. It’s a good thing cows don’t spit.

Took the red-eye from Vancouver to Toronto last night, arriving shortly after 6 o’clock this morning. I slept the entire way, from take-off to the announcement for landing. I thought I’d have to go directly into the office, but I have just enough time to drop my bags off, change, and go to work!
