  1. Day Two of Loot

    I scored big-time today.

    I went to the last day of Life Fest at the Metro Convention Centre with a free ticket and brought home a coffee table full of free loot! Notably, I also won a draw for a gym bag from Energizer with about $40 worth of stuff in it, 15 free digital prints (I printed two more at the event), and $200 in gas from Petro-Canada.

    What this picture doesn’t show is all the free food and drink I consumed: chocolate, yogurts, fruits, sausages, chili, Corona, wine, coolers, sauces, breads, oh boy… I can’t even remember it all. Between yesterday’s "One of a Kind Show" and today’s sample fest, I think the lesson is not to be greedy.

    I also signed up for every contest I could. We’ll see if I win anything else.

  2. April Fool’s Day Fooling Around

    The new masthead is totally uninspired, but now that winter is most definitely over, I wanted to change the banner and remove all the black. This is the lazy Sunday version, and it doesn’t make sense that I’d put up a photo of my left foot considering how grotesque my feet are. Maybe I’ll come up with something better after the trade show.
