Kermit’s been living in my bag for a while now because he doesn’t want to miss any action. Thankfully, he doesn’t take up much space and is up for all kinds of short-notice adventuring. When I flew back to Toronto from Vancouver on the red-eye last month, I took the subway to work directly from the airport and brought Kermit out to entertain a kindergartener. I think it’s his friendly green hue and ear-to-ear (?) perpetual grin that wins over folk of all ages. He makes a perfect travel companion because he doesn’t set off the airport detector, either!
