I live directly beside the Rogers Centre, a 65,000+ seat stadium, and sometimes I wake up on Saturday or Sunday mornings by the strangest sounds wafting up to the living room from the plaza.

This morning, it was a large band playing “Rocky”…

After doing some digging on the internet to find out who these people are, judging by their colours they must be from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Today was the NCAA football inaugural International Bowl between their team (Broncos) and the University of Cincinatti (Bearcats).

I returned from Cuba with 2 GB of digital files and 6 music CDs and my hard drive space is running low, so I’ve been archiving and moving files to the external drive… which is nearly full so I’m listening to the Cuban music and burning, burning, burning.

In doing so, I came across this little email from October 5, 2004, after the First Weekend.
