Fancy Footwork, Mister

January 3, 2007 by Gail

The older generation of Cuba charmed me to pieces. Check out this gentleman’s footwork — stepping out of the way at the end, too, like a true gentleman would.

what a cute little man! i was watching it without sound at first, and it looked so strange. like he was a dancing robot.

plus, that old lady has a really cool t-shirt.

He was adorable. I started shooting after watching him for a bit, so I know he wasn’t dancing purely out of showmanship for a tourist — although I liked that he kept going even after he spotted my camera.

Everyone in Cuba can dance and play instruments! It’s wonderful!
