Try and resist the cuteness. Just try. Shadow (also called “Putters”) looks like a baby version of Hugh, here.
I’m at a highspeed connection for the first time in days, so I’m uploading and going through the photos like mad because I’m at a wi-fi café. But I’m comfy and working on a latté, too, so it’s not as manic as it sounds. Point form:
- In the middle of my three-hour drive yesterday, I experienced some of the WORST weather of my life going through the mountains along the I-81 south. Zero visibility due to fog AND driving rain, lightning, and ferocious winds, all at the same time. I thought I was a goner.
- I took a lot of cameraphone photos of cats and dogs.
- It made me want to get my own cats and dogs. (Not ready yet, but I can still enjoy them at other people’s houses.)
- I learned new things about the Amish and Mennonites.
- The drive back north was mercifully in good weather. In fact, so good I stopped to take photos and was shocked at the CHILLY drop in temperature! Yesterday it was up to 20 degrees Celsius and today was absolutely frigid! But I’m not complaining, at least I’m not getting blown off a mountain!
