When the older three Ms were pre-schoolers, I bought them a colourful plastic bowling set that was exactly the same as the one I remember having when Allan, Alvin, and I were kids. Apparently my bowling has not improved one iota in thirty years, because I can’t for the life of me get a strike at five feet away. (I had some unsolicited help from the kidlets.)

This was one of the first movies I edited from my second camera, the Canon A60, which featured SOUND, glorious sound. (My first digicam, the Canon A30, had a 10-second limit and no sound.) Three years later, I’d like to say my editing skills have improved somewhat.
