All my recent trips to Rhinebeck are turning into quite a story that I’m unable to tell without tearing up, so I’m going to postpone writing about it a bit longer.
Needless to say, it’s a special place for me. It will always be a special place for me. It’s where David’s and Hugh’s ashes now lie, and probably when I pass on, I’d like my ashes to be scattered from an antique airplane over Rhinebeck, too.
I miss the other two members of the House of Fielding very, very much. Not a day goes by when I don’t try and imagine their loving presence around me, to feel less alone.
