Lana and I ate and shopped and walked our way around downtown and the West End yesterday, hitting some of our favourite spots like Sala Thai and Caffe Artigiano. Bin 941 was packed as usual, so we grabbed a nightcap and tapas-style nosh at Lickerish a couple of doors down.

While meandering, I noted new shops and eateries and played the typical Vancouver game of “What was there before?” I’m usually not too shabby at this game, but this time I might’ve only remembered 50% of the previous tenants. Vancouver does transience better than any other city I know.
