Photosensitive.com exhibit for World AIDS Conference

From the Photosensitive.com website:

In the spring of 2005, eight PhotoSensitive photographers travelled to Kenya, Mozambique, Ethiopia, India, and Cambodia to capture the essence of the fight against HIV/AIDS, and the courage of those whose lives are affected. The images portray truths and dispel myths about HIV/AIDS, and celebrate human endurance in the face of this unprecedented global pandemic.

This project was created in partnership with CARE Canada, Save the Children Canada, Foster Parents Plan and World Vision Canada, with support from Engineers Without Borders, Taking It Global, CIDA, and the Canada Fund for Africa.

See AIDS: Picture Change in the Allen Lambert Galleria at Toronto’s BCE Place (an official venue of the XVI International AIDS Conference) from August 11 to 26.

For those in the Toronto area, head to BCE Place and check out the exhibit by the professional photographers of Photosensitive.com. Very striking images, which can be viewed as a gallery on the Photosensitive website, under Projects, then AIDS: Picture Change.
