We’re a long way from Kirkland (a suburb of Seattle), Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia, which is where Karl and I used to live not so long ago. Neither of us could predict we’d move to Orlando, Florida and Toronto, Ontario, respectively, due to unforeseen circumstances. But here we are, and we’re making the most of it. Relocating your life comes with major adjustments, and meeting up with friends who can commiserate helps!
I told Karl two years ago (has it been two years already?!?!) that he had a drawl, and he didn’t believe me. So I got him to give a little demo of his coffeemaker — which I’ve always been rather fascinated with — and added a little bit of his house, which is really set up for visitors! It’s Barrus Resort!
And Karl — YES, YOU HAVE A DRAWL. It was all that time in Texas.
