And I've been living in this house almost four years and in Seattle for a lot longer. I imagine if/when you plant your feet in Toronto for more than a few days/weeks at a time that sense of belonging will hit you. Just since you've been there you've already moved residences, made multiple trips back to the States, had a big adventure in Europe... of course it doesn't quite connect as home yet! I am spending a full week at home for the first time since early February and it’s odd to really feel “home” rather than just feeling like someone who stops in here for a few days to make sure the house is okay. I imagine if/when you plant your feet in Toronto for more than a few days/weeks at a time that sense of belonging will hit you.
