Interesting developments today.
Until I know more, here are some nightshots taken in Dusseldorf on April 1. Streaky goodness, here. As you can see from this set, I have a special fondness for nightshooting — the arcs and lines of light movement make for eye-catching photos.
If you ever get bored with what comes out of your camera, take advantage of the warmer evenings and do some nightshooting. Find a busy bridge or intersection and set your camera on a mailbox or something in lieu of a tripod. Even the lowliest of cameras (both point-and-shoot film and digicams) have a “night” or “bulb” feature. If you don’t know where it is, just set it on ‘auto’ (turn off the flash) and hold very still.
Oh, one last thing. If there’s anything ODD happening with the layout of this new website redesign in your browser, do let me know! By e-mail or comment. (Pssst — leave a comment and check out the new Ajax commenting feature!)
(I’ve been told in Internet Explorer the RSS icon beside ‘Latest’ is pushed out past the right margin. Haven’t been able to fix that yet.) EDIT: fixed!
