I ran out of food today and decided to try out Loblaws at Forest Hill Market, St. Clair West, completely forgetting that it’s Easter and Passover this weekend. Oh dear, the lunacy! Anyone familiar with the Forest Hill area of Toronto can imagine all the variations of the Mike Meyers’ SNL character Linda Richman clogging the aisles. It’s a good thing I was in no hurry, the place was teeming with people stocking up for the weekend. The big bejewelled sunglasses and the big ultra-coifs were present and accounted for, too. (more…)
