London Bridge tube station
London Bridge tube station

Relatively speaking, I took fewer photos on this trip than previous ones, but since David introduced me to Photoshop last year, I’ve been able to process them better and compose them closer to the way I see them in my head.

I could call it photo articulation, like expanding the vocabulary to express an idea more fully.

(cameraphone picture at Heathrow)

Arrived in one piece from London, 2.5 weeks, 6 airplanes, 8 airports, and many goodbyes later.

It’s the first time I’ve flown into Toronto Pearson as my designated home airport. Feels a bit odd and will take some getting used to, but nevertheless I’m happy to be reunited with Hugh. If he could purr any louder, he’d wake the neighbours.

Rolled up at my front door around 2am, after catching the LAST subway train from Kipling (the metro station closest to the airport). Lucky me, because the other options were rather unappealing, and after missing the last tube train in London the previous night I’d had enough of schlepping my bags around all night AGAIN because of limited train service.

Apparently, Hugh’s been busy the past couple of weeks or so marking his territory, i.e., the ENTIRE APARTMENT. Nothing like coming home at 2am and spending the first hour scrubbing the floor.
