It’s Helma’s birthday today, and I’d be helping her celebrate if there wasn’t an international border and 381 miles (613 kms) between us. So, in lieu, I will toast her good health and prosperity by raising a glass of happy latté and a cup of chocolate love.

Hey you. Tis a day for chocolate. The Fun Factory is flowing in abundance with cookies and brownies. I even brought these little mint-chocolate disks called UFOs that seem pretty popular. Cheers…
Helma’s face matches her kind heart.
Love the chocolate heart. I’m a sucker for all of that.
Helma is much the way I pictured her – looks very much like a “Mom” – a down-to-earth and loving person.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Gail. You are a person with a big heart, and I know you are loved by many, many people. Even we, complete blogger-strangers, have grown to love the incredible person you are! A big hug to you today.
Thanks everybody!
Helma is indeed very special to me, and I wish her every happiness as she goes forth in life without her beloved husband. Hermann and David brought us together, and for that I’m very thankful.
