Comfort Food

Serg concocted this scrummy chicken and eggplant dish for me last night. I love eggplant: moussaka, eggplant parmesan, young eggplant in a Thai or Indonesian curry, eggplant in baba ghanouj… oh man, just posting this made me hungry again. My appetite’s back, but with an abundance of restaurants, that’s inevitable. At least I don’t have to drive everywhere and can get back into walking as my primary form of mobility and to burn off calories.

581 Bloor Street West, Toronto
I didn’t go in, but I couldn’t miss this light display walking west along Bloor Street on Wednesday. I thought it was a casino, but it’s actually a landmark emporium of cheap goods!
